Important notice


We would ask all our customers to note that at the time of renting a vehicle, it will be necessary to produce your valid driving licence for both the driver and any additional authorised drivers. Two further proofs of identification, such as passport, utility bills etc. are also required. Failure to produce these valid documents at the time of rental may result in Eurodrive being unable to satisfy your booking and as a result, all monies paid will be forfeited.

Please note Eurodrive has arranged your rental with the car rental company shown on the voucher after your payment of the services. Eurodrive is independent, not an agent for any particular car hire company. The voucher is not a rental agreement. When you pick up the vehicle, you must sign a rental agreement provided by the rental company and subject to local laws. Your Eurodrive voucher must be presented at the rental desk in order to guarantee the Eurodrive rate is applied. Additional fees may apply for rental service beyond hours of operation. All rates are guaranteed in British Pounds.

Please ensure that the main driver has a valid credit card to cover deposit payments at the time of vehicle collection.

What's included
All Eurodrive rental rates include unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver liability (CDW), theft protection for the vehicle and fire insurance where required together with all relevant local taxes (including airport surcharge for rentals commencing at an airport location) but exclude costs for vehicles taken outside the country of hire.

Liability insurance for injuries or damages to persons or things outside the vehicle is also included together with VAT as of booking date.

What is not included?
  • Personal accident insurance - this is an option available from the rental location and must be paid locally (subject to availability)
  • Insurance Exclusions - please see below
  • Fuel - a deposit is often payable for fuel and is usually refunded if the car is returned with a full tank. Please check the local petrol policy upon collection of the vehicle. Eurodrive strongly advises clients to check if a car is DIESEL or REGULAR fuel at pick up. If the client is advised to return the vehicle with a full tank they should retain a copy of their final receipt for their records. Re-fuelling will be subject to charges as indicated on your voucher.
  • Parking and traffic fines - It is the hirer's responsibility to pay any parking or traffic fines incurred whilst the vehicle is in their custody. Please note administration fees may be charged.
  • Local Tolls, highway fees or travel stickers required by local authority
  • Additional driver charges - additional driver fees are either included in the rates (subject to availability with the driver to sign on locally) or for an additional local charge as stated on your voucher.
  • Out of hours - additional fees may apply for rental services beyond the hours of operation
  • Waiver plus/Excess refund cover/Zero excess - all can be purchased in advance and stated on your voucher if applicable (subject to availability)
  • Cancellation protection - can be purchased in advance and stated on your voucher if applicable (subject to availability)
  • Child seats - can be requested in advance (subject to availability)
  • Deliveries/Collections - are available on a request basis only for an additional fee (subject to availability)
  • Snow Chains - are available on a request basis only for an additional fee (subject to availability)
  • Other optional items (luggage racks, sat nav etc) - are on a request basis only for an additional fee (subject to availability)
  • Overseas Use - (see below)
Period of rental for on-line reservations only
The UK and Ireland minimum rental period is 24 hours. For all other countries the minimum rental period is usually 3 days. Rental days are based on a 24-hour period. The price is determined by the start time of the hire. If you wish to extend the rental period after collection of the vehicle, or if the vehicle is returned late, you will be charged locally at the local daily rate. No refunds are given for vehicles returned early.

Flight information
For an airport pick up, it is essential that Eurodrive be given the correct flight number and arrival time before departure. Should this information change, please contact Eurodrive central reservations on +44 (0) 8701 60 90 60 or email reservations@eurodrive.com quoting the booking reference number. If the information is not provided in time, no responsibility will be accepted or compensation allowed for failed rentals.

Driver's age
  • UK and Ireland

  • Europe and worldwide
    if you are under 23 years of age please contact our central reservations call centre on +44 (0) 8701 60 90 60 at the time of booking.
Some age restrictions may apply and in some cases there is a young drivers surcharge paid locally. (Prices on application)

Child seats
Child seats - these are recommended and must be requested at the time of booking. In most cases a local charge will be payable and in all cases they are subject to availability.

Please note that should you decide to book the child seat locally upon collection of your car, we cannot guarantee availability and a local charge will become payable.

Amendments to bookings
All amendments are subject to confirmation and must be made through Eurodrive.s central reservations department +44(0) 8701 60 90 60.

Eurodrive has no cancellation or amendment fees when advised 24 hours prior to the rental start date. Should the customer cancel less than 24 hours prior to rental start date, not show up or show up late to collect the vehicle, a no show fee equal to the first 3 days of the rental will be charged. Eurodrive cannot refund any unused days if the vehicle is returned early.

Cancellation protection
For just £1 per day FROM SELECTED LOCATIONS ONLY Eurodrive.s cancellation protection will protect you from any cancellation charges payable if you are unable to honour your booking prior to collection date. Please note that refunds will not be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date, even if cancellation protection is taken.

Driving licences
Drivers must produce a full valid driving licence held for at least 12 months. It is the driver.s responsibility to ensure that he/she has the appropriate driving licence. Our reservation system will determine the validation of insurance based on information provided by the driver or the additional driver. Should the information supplied at the time of booking differ from the information supplied on collection of the car, this may invalidate your booking and no refunds will be given. Please note that refunds will not be given for rentals rejected for non-production of a valid driving licence or non-disclosure of endorsements or information that will affect the validation of your insurance or booking. Please further note that faxed or photocopied licences or proofs of identification will not be accepted.

A foreign licence must have an English translation otherwise an international licence or drivers permit will be required.

Rental documents
Your booking confirmation and rental voucher (if applicable) must be presented when collecting your rental vehicle. Eurodrive cannot be held responsible for rentals rejected if a voucher or a booking confirmation is not presented. If you have misplaced your documentation please contact our central reservations on +44 (0) 8701 60 90 60. As a precaution we recommend that you retain your rental documents for 21 days after returning home.

Additional drivers
You can request the additional drivers option during the booking process. Please note that you may be able to request an additional driver upon collection of your car. Any additional charges in relation to this will be paid locally.

Deposits
Deposits may vary by location. All clients must produce a valid credit card in the name of driver upon collection of the vehicle as a form of deposit. A deposit is often payable for petrol and is usually refunded if the vehicle is returned with a full tank. If the tank is not full, petrol used will be charged by our local operation at its prevailing rate. Please check the petrol policy when you pick up your car.
A security deposit will also be required (see below)
This takes the form of an amount being blocked on the primary driver.s credit card. Please note that cash deposits and debit cards are rarely acceptable so please be sure to check with our agents at the time of reservation if you require this facility. American Express and Diners Cards are also not generally available . your reservation agent will be able to advise.

Provision of cars
Please note that suppliers can refuse to provide a vehicle to any customer who, in their opinion, is unfit to drive or does not meet an eligibility requirement. In such circumstances, your contract with Eurodrive will terminate immediately and we will have no further liability to you. Please note that in these circumstances, no refund will be given.

Number of passengers
Our rental cars are insured for a maximum number of passengers. Eurodrive cannot accept responsibility if the vehicle selected is not large enough to fit all passengers and luggage on arrival. Please check vehicle specification before booking.

Driving restrictions
Please advise our reservation call centre at the time of booking, if you plan to drive out of the country of vehicle collection. Charges will apply locally for extra insurance and additional breakdown cover. Restrictions are applicable when crossing country/state borders. Charges may apply locally for extra insurance. There is no automatic authority to take the vehicle from the country of hire.

Insurance exclusions and excesses
In common with most car rental companies, Eurodrive.s insurance does not cover tyres, windscreens, the roof and the underside of the vehicle. You may therefore be liable for damage to these items. Insurance cover is not provided for contents of the car in case of theft. Should you require goods and effects insurance, this can be obtained upon collection of your vehicle. You will be asked to pay an insurance deposit to cover insurance excess. Should you select to take the Waiver Plus/ Excess Refund/ Zero Excess Cover (where available) your deposit will be reduced in line with your new excess.

You will be asked to pay the excess, should the car be subject to wilful damage or if any damage is caused to the car as a result of an accident / collision. In the event of the keys being lost or damaged, you will be liable for the full cost of obtaining a replacement. Should the vehicle be immobile it will be deemed to be on rent and therefore any additional rental charges will become applicable until the vehicle is ready for rental.

Waiver plus option/Excess Refund Cover/Zero Excess
During the quotation / booking process, you may be offered one these options. All are subject to availability. Eurodrive.s waiver plus option allows you to further reduce your insurance excess. Additional charges apply. Please check at the time of booking.

Excess Refund Cover (if purchased in advance and stated on your voucher)- should the local supplier charge you for the excess amount on the vehicle you may reclaim this charge providing you complete a police accident form and an accident report form with the supplier. On returning home copies of these will need to be sent to Eurodrive.

Please note that should you not accept any of the above options during the booking process, you may be able to book and pay for this locally. Additional charges will apply and may differ from those quoted within this website or via Eurodrive central reservations.

Car type / suitability
Eurodrive is unable to guarantee a particular make or model of a car. The cars illustrated within this website or on your voucher / booking form are for guidance only and may be substituted for an alternative similar or upgraded car (at no extra cost). If you are dissatisfied in any way with the standard of your car, you must advise your local supplier immediately and Eurodrive.s head office in writing within 28 days of your return. Eurodrive will not accept liability if this procedure is not followed.

Mechanical difficulties / accident
In the event of any mechanical difficulties or accidents involving your car, it is important that details are reported to your local supplier within 24 hours. You must also complete an accident report form by the end of the rental period. Local police should be notified in case of an accident and a signed police report/reference number obtained.

Authority to repair or replace a vehicle may only be given by your local supplier whose name and contact details are shown on your rental documentation and rental agreement. You should retain copies of all rental documentation in the event of any insurance company involvement. Compensation cannot be considered when this procedure is not followed. A check out/in form must be signed upon the return of your vehicle. Failure to do so may result in a delay in the investigation or dispute regarding insurance excess charges.

Complaints
Eurodrive aims to resolve complaints within 28 days of receipt. However, some complaints will take longer due to the nature of the issues and information provided. Eurodrive may on occasions record telephone conversations for staff training purposes.

General conditions
All bookings by our clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied, by custom or in the course of dealing shall form part of any contract between Eurodrive and our clients, except for those terms implied by law whose application is mandatory.

The client acknowledges that in making a booking with Eurodrive, it does so only on the basis of the material contained in this terms and conditions section and website. All other statements or representations made by Eurodrive, its employees, or agents are of no effect unless confirmed by us to the client in writing. Eurodrive source vehicles from various rental companies in the countries in which it operates. The rental of the vehicle will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you and for this reason you will be required to sign a rental contract with the rental company, which supplies the vehicle. You should satisfy yourself that you understand and agree to its terms, and the local law. Eurodrive cannot accept liability for any charges incurred on documentation signed and accepted locally. Eurodrive reserves the right to levy any government increases in local vat that may be introduced after the preparation of these terms and conditions. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local vat at the prevailing rate in that country.

Eurodrive will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing wilful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. The client will indemnify Eurodrive against this in respect of such claims.
